Cambridge ICT

Cambridge ICT Starters is designed by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), a department of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), to develop and measure students' skills, knowledge and application in information and communications technology (ICT).

The Syllabus and Assessments provide a framework through which candidates can be assessed reliably against performance standards set in an international context.

Cambridge ICT Starters are suitable for students in primary and secondary education.

Module Listing
All the Levels of the Cambridge ICT Starters are taught through a series of self-contained modules, which are designed so as to initially increase the student's confidence, whilst later providing challenging tasks for them.

The Award operates at three Levels of the Cambridge Qualification Frameworks:
Initial Steps:
Introduces students aged between 6 and 8 to fundamental concepts in ICT
Next Steps:
Introduces students aged between 9 and 12 to intermediate ICT skills
On Track:
Introduces students aged between 13 and 16 to advanced ICT skills
